STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

For an electric stove does not ignite, first check if the appliance is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the appliance is plugged in or if the pilot light is on, then another part of the appliance will have to be replaced. The reason for the problem could be an infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A burner or stove or oven that does not produce heat doesn’t do much. An oven does not heat when there is a broken bake element or oven sensor. A burner won’t ignite when an element breaks or the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. We are able to fix these common issues in under 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER PROBLEMS

You can assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken if the program or timer settings aren’t working. If that is the case, we know how to fix control boards on Sears, GE, LG, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on control panels and parts we install for this stove repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS VERY HOT

You want a hot oven. But not too hot! When the heat is too hot, it might be because of a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our appliance repairmen know how to identify the reason for the problem and repair it. But be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of body burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is that an igniter glows but it will not light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from either a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We determine if we can fix these appliance parts or if we will need to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning ovens are known to have door problems. The door doesn’t open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We inspect the door closure, thermostat and seal to figure out why the door does not open and then we complete the necessary repair so we can put an end to the issue.
